  • Boys' Netball Rally

    Tue 28 Mar 2023

On Monday 27th March, eight boys participated in this year's boys' netball rally for the Uxbridge District at Ryefield School.  They were drawn in a tough group yet they did not let this hinder their performance.  They won two games, drew a game and lost a game.  This meant that they progressed to the semi-final and played against Hillingdon A.  The standard of play that our team showed in the semi-final was very impressive yet despite this, we did not qualify to the final.  However, the team did receive bronze medals for their fantastic performance in this competition. The team showed wonderful sportsmanship throughout the tournament and there was some phenomenal shooting too.  Thank you to all of the family members who came along to support the team.

  • Cross Country

    Mon 20 Mar 2023

Congratulations to all members of our cross country team who competed at Vyners' playing fields this afternoon in extremely wet conditions. All runners completed the tough 2000m course. An extra 'well done' to Eduardo, who finished 16th out of over 90 boys and Ayat.K, who finished 22nd out of over 90 girls!

  • Voice in a Million at Wembley

    Fri 17 Mar 2023

On Wednesday the 15th March I had the honour of leading our school choir trip to VIAM at Wembley Arena alongside Ms Holley, Ms Garnie and Ms Louis. It was a resounding success and a wonderful experience of live music and singing in unison for our choir. There were around 5000 children from school choirs across the country taking part, as well as some special guest performers on the night. Parents were also able to come and watch the performance. When the lights were up and everyone was singing together the atmosphere was truly electric! Mr Papadakis

  • Junior Citizen Activity Programme

    Wed 08 Mar 2023

On Wednesday 8th March, all Year 6 pupils were very fortunate to attend the Junior Citizen Activity Programme, which took place at Brunel University.  This programme was an active safety programme in which the children took part in mock-ups of dangers they may face in everyday life.  This trip was very beneficial as it followed the basic principles of raising the pupils' awareness of their own personal safety and the safety of others around them.  The trip was thoroughly enjoyed by all and our pupils found it very informative and beneficial.

  • Mixed Netball Rally

    Sat 04 Mar 2023

On Saturday 4th March, we took two teams to take part in the District Mixed Netball Rally, which was held at Ryefield School.  Both teams played very well throughout the group phase of the competition: with Team B winning one of their three games and Team A winning two of their three games. Unfortunately, neither team progressed to the quarter-finals, with Team A only narrowly missing out on progressing to the next round of the competition on goal difference.  All sixteen players performed very well and we are very proud of all of their achievements during the rally and their great sportsmanship!  Thank you to all of the parents who came and supported us!

  • World Book Day 2023!

    Fri 03 Mar 2023

Wow! Our school looks amazing this week. Not only have our pupils dressed up as their favourite characters, but each class has celebrated a wonderful children's book by decorating their classroom door. The standard of decoration has been amazing and has showcased the talents of our pupils and staff. The door competition is so close that a panel of judges has now been brought together to decide on year group winners. Feast your eyes on some of our doors below. A special mention should also be made to 3C and 4B. 3C created a wonderful 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' door and 4B were creative with 'Varjak Paw'; so creative, in fact, that they both incorporated images of every class member in their design (which is why we cannot include photos of their doors in this slideshow). Well done to you all - a fantastic effort!
