Welcome to the Summer Term. We all hope that you enjoyed some quality time with your families over the Easter holidays. All of the staff in Year 5 have been busy doing lots of things around their houses, keeping fit and being teachers to their own children!
Unfortunately, this term is a bit different than usual but we still have lots of exciting learning for you all. We have been so proud of all your efforts so far and have enjoyed seeing some of your home learning and finding out about what you’ve been up to when we’ve spoken to you. I’m sure some of you were surprised to hear your teacher on the phone?
It is important for you all to keep in a routine and making sure that our bodies and minds are active. We will continue to provide you daily activities for you on our home learning page. As well as daily activities there are lots of other ideas and suggestions that will help you extend you learning. Remember do the activities that you can and do not worry if something is too challenging.
As well as this, you can find summer term vocabulary lists and knowledge mats for our topics of: ‘Vikings’ and ‘Life Cycles’. Espresso and Twinkl websites can offer you more support on these topics if you need it.
If you want to extend your learning even further, you can also find optional extension tasks that will allow you to delve deeper into our topic learning.
Remember to stay safe.
