Welcome Year 3 to Whitehall Junior School!
What a fantastic start to the year you have all made. Although school is a bit different at the moment, you have all taken everything in your stride and set a great example to the whole Junior School.
We are looking forward to all the exciting learning that we will be doing over this term. In English we will be reading a variety of texts including 'Krindlekrax' by Philip Ridley and 'Charlotte's Web' by E.B. White. In mathematics we will be focusing all of the main skills with a greater emphasis on times tables. In science we will be learning about plants and living things. We will be learning all about the United Kingdom and the geography of all the countries that are in it. We will also be having regular RE, music, art, PSHE, computing and French lessons. We will be having PE lessons twice a week. It is important that on your PE days that you all wear your PE kit to school.
Please use your school planners at home. They will have lots of important information to support your learning as well as your passwords for all our online resources. They can also be used for any messages that need to be communicated from home.
We look forward to the Autumn Term and getting to know you all.
