Welcome Dragonflies, Bees and Ladybirds

Welcome back to you all. We hope that you have had an enjoyable Easter break and are ready for an enjoyable Summer term.

The Year 3 team have been missing seeing you on a day-to-basis but we must say that we are very proud of all the hard work that you have been completing at home since school closure; we have been checking up on you! We will continue to set exciting work for you to participate in and look forward to seeing the successful results of your learning on your return to school.

We are expecting the same level of enthusiasm, dedication and focus moving forward into summer term. It is important to keep your brain and body active every day.

It has been lovely to speak to you on the phone while school has been closed and we will aim to speak to each of you once a week. We love to hear about what you have been up to and are happy to answer any questions you have! If you cannot wait a week and have an urgent question for us, you can contact the school’s email address: whitehalljun@whitehalljunior.org  and we will get back to you.

Using your planners, you can test your knowledge of a variety of spellings using the Year 3 and 4 word list at the back of your book. Chose 10 spellings and learn these weekly as they are important. Perhaps a member of your family could test you on them once a week? It's also important that you are reading for pleasure and completing your weekly Mathletics activities.

If you want to extend your learning even further, you can also find additional activities in the home learning additional activities area which will allow you to delve deeper into our topic learning of the Stone Age.

Keep up all of the hard work!

Year 3 Team
