Welcome Bees, Dragonflies and Ladybirds

Welcome to 2021!

Hello Year 3,

Happy 2021 and welcome to the Spring Term.  We have a fun-filled, busy term ahead.

It is hard to believe that the Year 3 children have already completed a term in the Junior School.  It has been fantastic to see their enthusiasm for learning in the classroom.  Everyone should be commended for knowing their new routines.

Over the term, we will continue to learn mathematics and English every day, along with the foundation subjects.  Our topic will cover the United Kingdom and we will be learning all about the geography of all of the home nations.

We will continue to have PE twice a week. Please continue to wear your PE kits to school on the usual allocated PE days.  It is important that everyone who brings a snack into school ensures they have a healthy option.  Please contact your class teacher if you are not sure about what snack to bring.

Please continue to practise your times tables and spellings each week and continue to use the Mathletics, Bug Club and ‘Times Table Rockstars’ websites.  Please continue to use the Word Mats and vocabulary sheets to support your learning.  They will help you to understand a wide variety of new vocabulary that you are learning in your lessons.

We look forward to an exciting term,

Mr Mitchell, Mrs Perez and Miss Shaw
