Climbing Wall Challenge
To launch our first full week back at school, we have organised a timetable for each class to complete a climbing wall challenge. This is not only a wonderful opportunity for the children to be physically active and bond with their new classmates but it is also a wonderful opportunity to explicitly teach the skills of perseverance, determination, hard work and resilience. These key character traits are what we are learning about in our PSHE lessons this week and applying these character traits to the climbing wall has been very beneficial for the children. All pupils have thoroughly enjoyed the climbing wall challenge and the staff are very proud of all of the children's personal achievements on the wall.
