• The RAF Salon Orchestra

  Our thanks go to the men and women of The RAF Salon Orchestra who treated us all to a concert this afternoon. Not only did they teach us about instruments and military uniforms, but they entertained us enormously with their wonderful music. We especially enjoyed the Disney music we were able to sing along to!

  

• Royal Wedding Celebrations

  A lovely day has been had by all as we joined together to celebrate Prince Harry's marriage to Meghan Markle. The Owls' class got the day off to a great start with an assembly on love and marriage. The confetti was much appreciated by an excited audience!  Pupils and staff went to great efforts to dress formally for the occasion. A themed lunch was provided by our cooks and we took advantage of the sunshine by spending the afternoon together with a tea party.

  

• Greek Day

  On Friday 4th May, Sir Teachalot brought the Ancient Greeks alive for Year 3. Throughout the day, they learnt about what life was like for men and women, traditional games played by children and adults and how the warriors prepared for battle. We also discovered how the Ancient Greek armour and weapons were made and used during fights. Everyone made a great effort with their Greek dress and looked fabulous! The day was fantastic and enjoyed by staff and children alike.
