A talented group of Year 5 children received a thunderous applause for their portrayal of a dramatic scene from Shakespeare's Macbeth. Uxbridge High hosted a wonderful The audience sat in awe as Whitehall's thespians performed roles of witches, apparitions and of course, Macbeth himself. The musical instrumental heightened the mood of apprehension as the witches waded through the dozens of observers. Languages spoken ranged from Shakespearean English to modern, Urdu to Bengali - this was truly a sight to behold.
The Eagles put on a glockenspiel masterclass this morning. The audience listened to two numbers which highlighted the Eagles' newly-acquired skill of improvisation. Alongside Mr Papadakis' soulful rendition on his trumpet, 5E accompanied their teacher - first in unison, and then playing stunning improvised pieces which wowed the appreciative audience.
