The furthest one of our special centenary balloons flew was to Denmark, travelling over 1335 kilometres (830 miles)! Amazingly, another ended up in Germany. The route most of them were found was due North East from Uxbridge via Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk.

In all, 33 balloon tags were returned. We are very grateful indeed to all the kind people who sent them back to us. We found it very interesting to receive the letters and to be able to chart the balloons' progress.
