Last week the entire school engaged in a full day of activities to celebrate National Poetry Day. The children had a wonderful day learning about different poets including: Benjamin Zephaniah, Rachel Rooney and Joseph Coelho. They were given the opportunity to explore the poetry, write poetry and perform poetry. The day culminated in a fantastic recital of the winner groups from each year group performing in front of the school, in an assembly, to celebrate the day.
