Year 6 took part in a wealth of learning and experiences to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.  All pupils learnt about who the Queen is, and the members of the Royal Family, the Queen's roles and responsibilities and what a Jubilee is.  As well as this, the children used their art skills to create a Platinum Jubilee logo, inspired by the official emblem which was designed by a 19 year old graphic designer student, Edward Roberts, from Nottinghamshire and created bunting to decorate our Year 6 corridor.  The children thoroughly enjoyed the whole school Jubilee picnic which took place on the field before we broke up for half-term.
