Over the last couple of weeks, in order to support their RE learning, Year 4 pupils visited a local Hindu Temple. We took some time to sketch the outside of the temple looking carefully at the intricate patterns and detail. Then, we walked around inside the temple to see the wonderful architecture and detail from the inside. As mentioned on their website, “the architecture of the Shri Sanatan Hindu Temple in Wembley has impressed thousands with its dazzling decorative complexity since its completion in 2010.”
