Year 4 have been studying Street Child this term. They have been learning about how life was very different for children during the Victorian times. Therefore, we wanted our Year 4 pupils to have the opportunity to take part in an unforgettable, immersive and drama-based workshop in an authentic Victorian schoolroom. Our pupils were able to experience school life from the point of view of a Victorian child, identifying differences and similarities between school today. This workshop really helped the children to understand schooling during the Victorian era. It was wonderful to see how all of our pupils were fully engaged and well-behaved during the entire experience.
