Daily home learning with White Rose Maths

White Rose Maths provides excellent learning resources which many of our teachers use within their daily lesson planning. Ask any teacher at Whitehall Junior School about White Rose Maths and they will tell you what great resources they produce!

During our school closure period, White Rose Maths have produced a daily maths activity; this involves a short video clip, a task and the answers (for parents!). Each activity has been planned with a specific year group in mind, so we would encourage you to give these a go with your children at home.

Visit and then select the year group your child is in. Having started this provision last week, you will find this week’s learning starts in ‘week 2’. There are five lessons per week, with the idea of doing one per day. There is no cost to access these brilliant lessons. As a school, we can’t encourage you enough to give them a go.

Since the resources were started last week, they have been accessed by over 500,000 parents and children – this number is rapidly growing as word spreads. Take a look and see what you think.
